About Conference


PhD Students and Young Scientists International Conference since its beginning the event has been  taking place at the oldest and the largest Polish technical university – Warsaw University of Technology (WUT). It has been started as an initiative undertaken in 2005 by the PhD Students Board of WUT and being aimed at integration of the PhD students from different scientific centers. At the present time the conference is organized by the Foundation for Young Scientists and the PhD Students Board. Till this day it has been taken 10 editions. Today we have no hesitation in claiming that this annual event has its significant place in the calendar of scientific conferences dedicated to young scientists in Poland.

During of the conference there were held the following sessions:

  3. Chemistry and Pharmacy

  4. Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics ,

  5. Energy Sources and Systems

  6. Mathematics and Information Sciences

  7. Environmental Sciences

  8. Mechanics, Automatics and Robotics

  9. Nanotechnology and Materials

  10. Sustainable Engineering Risk, Economy and Society

  11. Transport and Logistics

Along with this years edition we celebrate also the fifth anniversary of the scientific journal Challenges of Modern Technology that contains papers submitted mostly for the conference and critically reviewed by two members of the Journals Scientific Board. More than a half of Journals Scientific Board comes from abroad universities. From 2012 quarterly Challenges of Modern Technology is in IndexCopernicus.

The official co-organizer of the 11th edition is "Young Scientists Council of Lviv Polytechnic National University".
